Price and duration

How much are the lessons?

I cannot afford lessons, so could you teach me for free?
No. My courses need to be paid for. I have plenty of free materials on my blog, Facebook Page and Twitter that you can use.

How long are the lessons?
30, 45 or 60 minutes with the last 5 / 10 minutes dedicated to oral and written feedback

How long do the courses last?
All courses need to be completed within 22 weeks of the start date of the course. Any outstanding lessons after this period will not be refunded.

Equipment and Technology

Do I need special equipment?
To ensure the lessons are comfortable and effective you need a microphone headset and a good Internet connection, at least broadband. An Ethernet cable improves the speed of your Internet, though isn’t essential if you already have fast Internet.

You will need the latest version of Skype. The broadband speed will determine the quality of the video and sound.

Some of my clients occasionally use iPads for lessons, however, a laptop or PC is recommended.

What if my internet stops working/there’s a problem with the sound/ there is another technical problem during the lesson?
I am sorry but I cannot reschedule the class because of your technical issue. If it is my technical issue, I will rearrange the lesson.

Cancellations

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

You can cancel or reschedule a session but you must give me 24 hours notice, otherwise you lose that lesson. I do not reschedule lessons cancelled without 24-hours’ notice.

What if I am late for a lesson?
You will lose that time. If you haven’t informed me of the delay, I will sign out of Skype after 20 minutes and charge you for the lesson.

What if you (Cinzia) are late, sick or cancel the session without 24 hours’ notice?
You do not lose the lesson. I will rearrange the time.

Paying for the Course

How do I pay for the courses?
You can pay via PayPal or an International Bank Transfer. Payment received must be net of all bank charges. Payment needs to be made in advance of the course starting.

What is Paypal?
It is a secure Internet payment system used in many countries. You need to start a PayPal account and link it to a credit or debit card.

Getting Started

How do we get started?
This is what I do. We:

agree the course and package you’d like via email and I send you an invoice
arrange the time and date for the trial session (30 minutes)
during the session, we’ll discuss your needs, agree the course plan and schedule the dates of the lessons
once payment is received, the first lesson starts.

Refunds

After the first lesson, you need to make a commitment to have regular lessons. You agree to have 5 lessons. I do not give refunds.
